Fascial Stretch Therapy

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is an assisted manual stretch therapy technique that “The Stretch Lady” Ann Frederick created in 1995, that was further developed together with Chris Frederick, PT into a unique system performed with the client comfortably secured to a table. FST focuses on elongating, re-aligning and balancing the connective tissues of the body. The rapid and pain-free results of FST occur within one session. Not only will it improve your flexibility but also your strength, balance, coordination, body awareness and posture.

The health and function of all your joints & muscles are a direct result of the condition of your fascia. Healthy circulation in your muscles, joints, arteries, veins, brain & spinal cord is largely dependent on optimal flexibility of your fascia. There is NO medication that can improve your fascia. There is NO supplement that can optimize your fascia. Exercise alone does not optimally balance, align and improve your fascia.

We bet you didn’t know...

47% of your flexibility is locked up in your joints

42% of your flexibility potential is in your fascia

Fascial Stretch Therapist,
Yoga Therapy

The majority of my life has been spent outdoors, exercising and figuring out how to maintain good health within my body, so it was no surprise when I became a personal trainer while attending PSU. My passion in life has always been to help others. It first began with exercise, getting people up off their seats and just moving! But over the years, and growth in my knowledge due to the obstacles I was faced with, my focus has shifted towards a new concept of doing less, but achieving more. After years of weight lifting & doing cardio 5-6 days a week, sometimes twice a day, my body started to talk to me. It was done. Exhausted, depleted and significantly imbalanced (muscularly, nutritionally, hormonally, etc.), I was presented with an opportunity to experience something I'd never heard of before - Fascial Stretch Therapy. My life was forever changed. That first session marked the beginning of a road towards recovery & healing, towards a much slower pace of life, but full of health and vitality. The healing aspects of a well-rounded, anti-inflammatory diet in conjunction with a personalized self-care regime are invaluable. By fueling your body with what it needs, avoiding what it doesn't need & releasing tension/stress from within our bodies, eventually other areas of our lives will begin to reflect that same inner peace, contentment and balance. Fascial Stretch Therapy is a way to soothe the nervous system, increase energy & gain mobility to further enjoy the beauty & activities that life has to offer!
